Dr Lila Warszawski
Post-doctoral Researcher, Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK)
Lila Warszawski has been a post-doctoral researcher at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK) since October 2011. She has been a member of the coordination team of the Inter-Sectoral Impact Model Intercomparison Project (ISI-MIP, www.isi-mip.org), which aims to quantify the impacts of different levels of global warming in a consistent multi-model, cross-sectoral, cross-scale framework. Her research has focussed on quantifying the risk of shifts in global ecosystems due to climate change. In April, 2014 Lila became project manager for ISI-MIP. Lila has a PhD (2011) in Astrophysics, and bachelor degrees in Science (applied mathematics) and Arts (Italian language) from the University of Melbourne.
